HOW DOES THE PERKINELMER COVID-19 ANTIGEN SELF-TEST WORK?
The PerkinElmer COVID-19 Antigen Test is a direct, sandwich-based lateral flow immunoassay. The SARS-CoV-2 target protein is captured between two complementary antibodies. One of these anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies is conjugated to the detection reagent and is held at the conjugate release pad, while the other antibody is immobilized at the test line on the membrane.
