End-to-End High-throughput explorer™ Workstation for SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR Testing for Processing Up to 10K Samples/Day

This fully automated explorer™ G3 workstation delivers a complete walk-away, high-throughput automation workflow for SARS-CoV-2 testing. Viral RNA is extracted using three PerkinElmer chemagic 360 extractors. PerkinElmer’s SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR tests are prepared using a JANUS® G3 PCR workstation and the SARS-CoV-2 specimens are analyzed using integrated RT-qPCR instruments.

  • This workstation is designed to be used with a JANUS® G3 Primary Sample reformatter
  • PerkinElmer chemagic M-PVA magnetic bead based nucleic acid extraction technology with three chemagic 360 instruments working in parallel

This fully automated custom explorer G3 workstation is a complete walk-away automation solution for medium-throughput SARS-CoV-2 testing. Viral RNA is extracted completed using two PerkinElmer chemagic 360 extractors. RT-PCR plates are prepared using PerkinElmer’s SARS-CoV-2 PCR testing kits with a JANUS® G3 workstation. Samples are then analyzed using integrated RT-qPCR instruments.
